Seachem Matrix is a premium, high-porosity biomedia designed to provide superior biofiltration for aquariums by efficiently removing ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. Ideal for both freshwater and saltwater tanks, Matrix’s porous structure offers both external and internal surface areas for optimal bacteria colonisation. Unlike traditional bio-materials, Matrix supports both nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria, allowing it to simultaneously handle nitrate, ammonia, and nitrite within the same filter.

• Dosage: Use 250ml of Matrix per 100L (25 US gallons) of water.

• Compatibility: Use with Seachem Stability® to establish a bio-filter more rapidly.
