The primary advantage of Flourish Iron over EDTA iron sources is its provision of iron in the ferrous state (Fe+2), which is the preferred form for plant uptake. This reduces the need for plants to expend additional metabolic energy in converting iron from its ferric state (Fe+3), commonly found in EDTA-based products.
