Juwel Nitrate Foam Pads provide effective chemical filtration and should be placed below the carbon pads in your filtration system. For optimum performance, replace your Juwel Nitrate Pads every 3 to 4 weeks or when there is a noticeable reduction in your filters output. Please note never change all of your filter pads at any point to ensure you maintain sufficient biological filtration for your livestock.
