Hagen Fluval 205 and 305 Foam - A222

Fluval Foam provides mechanical straining of particulate waste. It prevents particulate waste from prematurely clogging other filter media in the Modules Stack. Although the primary purpose of Fluval Foam is mechanical filtration, biological activity will eventually occur within its pore structure.

Instructions:

Rinse foam monthly or as needed to retain biological activity. Rinse in aged aquarium water. Fluval Foam will deteriorate over time causing a collapse of the pore structure and rapid clogging. Replace foam alternately to maintain biological activity.
