An established favourite from the U.S., the Poly-Filter Standard (8" x 4") is now available once more through Arcadia. As both a mechanical and chemical filter media, it offers an exceptional solution for achieving superior water quality and clarity in your aquarium.

Aquarium water can accumulate various chemical products and pollutants over time, including those present in tap water. Poly-Filter effectively removes:

• Proteins and Amino Acids
• Nitrite, Nitrate, and Ammonia

As the filter captures these pollutants, its colour changes, indicating when it needs replacement. Once it turns black, it's time to switch it out. Notably, once saturated, Poly-Filter does not release any hazardous substances back into the aquarium, unlike some other filter media.
